Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh Receives Head of Financial Literacy Textbooks Authoring Team

 

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), received in his office Dr. Adli Qandah, head of the Financial Literacy Textbooks Authoring Team in Jordan to discuss ways to enhance financial and economic awareness among students and youth, emphasizing the vital role of education in building a generation equipped with the skills necessary to effectively manage resources and make informed financial decisions that contribute to sustainable national development.

During the meeting, Dr. Qandah presented Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh with copies of the Financial Literacy textbooks as a gift, prepared under the supervision of the National Center for Curriculum Development, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. These textbooks have been introduced in schools throughout the Kingdom as part of the national initiative to integrate financial literacy concepts into the early stages of education. 

For his part, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh praised the significant national efforts invested in preparing and authoring this educational series, commending Dr. Qandah and his team for their leading role in integrating this important subject into the educational system. He stated that such an initiative enhances students’ understanding of production and financial literacy, while aligning with global economic trends and the evolving demands of the digital economy.

Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh affirmed that such initiatives represent a strategic step toward building a knowledge-based national economy, noting that financial literacy is a fundamental pillar for achieving economic sustainability and empowering individuals to actively engage and participate in economic life.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Qandah expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for his warm hospitality and motivational and inspiring remarks, praising his leading national role in supporting education, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Jordan and the Arab region.
